Mike Hanck is the pastor at Salem Lutheran Church, in Toledo, OH, a mission congregation for people experiencing economic poverty; he has served in the North End of Toledo for over a decade. He prepared for his vocation by serving in the Lutheran Volunteer Corps in Tacoma, WA and at L’Arche Harbor House in Jacksonville, FL. He attended Trinity Lutheran Seminary at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio where he was recognized as one of their Distinguished Alumni in 2024. He is married to Pr. Inge Williams, whose example teaches him about actual grace and goodness in the world every day.
