Giorgi Tserodze is a Georgian Orthodox priest, theologian, and philosopher born in Sukhumi in 1972. He studied Economics at Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, followed by a theological education at Tbilisi Theological Seminary. Between 2014 and 2023, he served as chaplain of the Georgian Armed Forces. His scholarly work centers on John Zizioulas’s relational ontology and eschatological theology, exploring the intersection of Orthodox tradition with continental philosophy and psychoanalysis. He is a contributor to “Zghvari” (The Threshold), a theological journal focused on liberal Orthodox theology. His work bridges patristic tradition with contemporary philosophical inquiry. He remains committed to creating spaces where authentic theological dialogue and spiritual freedom can flourish.
